Singing brings people’s energy up and out, allows a group to speak with a single voice, and moves the focus from the head to the heart.
“Anne is truly a musical minister: her music, talent and heart create a warm, open space that allows us to express and embody our shared grief and hope in these challenging times. Her gifts nurture recognition and development of our individual and collective strength – releasing us to go forward with renewed grounding and passion. “- Laura Hake, Chair, Sustainable Boston College
Anne’s programs for congregations and community groups include:
Hope for the Community of Earth A sermon with songs, about one women’s journey from isolated despair to hope-filled engagement in the climate movement.
Sing-In for Climate Justice Climate justice is the intersection of environmental and social justice issues. Sing songs of gratitude, challenge, and action together. “Anne’s hopeful message was presented with a combination of words and music. The congregation enjoyed singing both the familiar songs, and Anne’s own songs, which she led in a way that they were easily learned. Many people felt inspired to look deeply into their hearts to determine what additional things they could do to help care for our home, the awesome planet Earth. Anne is friendly, energetic, inspiring, talented and I highly recommend her.” -Martha Larson, co-chair Sunday Services Committee, UUS:E, Manchester, CT
